Casebook Competition 

The Yale Graduate Consulting Club (YGCC) is delighted to announce our Fall Casebook Competition, which will be held on November 9, 2021 via Zoom. The casebook competition is an opportunity to apply your creative skills and be featured in the next casebook from Yale. You will also get the opportunity to attend a coaching session from an MBB offer-holder and a one-on-one mentoring session for feedback. Participants will present their solutions to MBB offer-holders consultants and compete for cash prizes.

Individuals will be informed of the rules and evaluation criteria during the info session. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and find members to form teams. We look forward to seeing you there!

 Eligibility Criteria

  1. Any undergraduate, graduate student (Masters, PhD, JD or MD), postdoctoral fellow or a recent graduate. 

  2. Interested in management consulting; business background is not required!

  3. Entry fee: $15/person

How to Apply

​1. Apply as a team of 4-5 members via this link 
2. 1-page resume per person, plus 1 cover letter per team.
3. Application closes Friday, Sunday, October 10, 23:59 PM EST.
4. A registration fee of $15 per person will be required upon acceptance into the case competition and will allow your team to receive the case prompt. 
5. Please come to our info session with networking to find your teammates (sign up here) or fill out this team-building spreadsheet to form your team.
6. Please attend our first workshop on Friday, October 1, 2021, 2 PM EST (sign up here) and the second one on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 6 PM EST (sign up here) for case introductions by MBB offer-holders to help you better prepare for the competition.

Note that you will not be able to register in the casebook competition without the payment of a $15 registration fee per person. All participants including Yale-affiliated students or post-docs need to pay the registration fee.
